Kazari koyoroi is an amulet that you can easily carry around, suggested by a craftsman who has been making Kazari armor in Kyoto for many years.
This is a gem of a piece of armor with the motif of an important part of a helmet used to protect an important part of the chest, and the soul of a craftsman has been put into it.
Japanese spirit dwells in Kazari koyoroi "Nikitama".
There are many forms of armor, depending on the era in which it was made, but the "O-Yoroi" form of armor, mainly from the Kamakura period (1192-1333), is often referred to as "shikishou no yoroi" ( formal armor for ceremonial use), and is sometimes referred to as "shikishou no yoroi" (ceremonial armor).
In this issue, I have itemized a part of this large armor called "sendan no ita", which is a part of the Japanese bead armor.
Because this is an important part of the chest area that protects the vital points of the body, it is, of course, highly functional, and is also made using many of the same techniques used in armor, such as gold-plated metal ornaments, lacquered metal ornaments, gold leaf stamping, leather, and kumihimo together with Odoshi, etc.
For this reason, the "Sendan no ita" has been uniquely called "Koyoroi" (small armor) by our workshop. This small piece of armor is as decorative as a full-fledged suit of armor, and can be easily carried around and appreciated by visitors to the workshop.
The motif of this work is based on existing national treasure armor, and we have also created works with even greater added value.
The patterns on the metal ornaments are associated with very famous national treasure armor, and each of them has a traditional design.

The armor dedicated to the warriors of the time was presented to temples and shrines as a sacred object to help them achieve major goals and to pray for peace and prosperity for the country.
In modern times, it would be an item for "success in life," "academic achievement," and "family safety."
Also, since "large armor" is the attire of a general, it is a symbol of status, honor and dignity. It is also a symbol of status, honor, and dignity, as a general wears armor, and is worn by a person who has made a name for himself or herself.
