Heianjyu Issui

In 1925, armor maker Zenjiro Imamura began making Heianju Issui's decorative armor in Eikando-cho, at the foot of the Higashiyama mountain range in Kyoto, carrying on the traditions of Kyoto. Since then, the techniques have been passed down and refined from generation to generation, and continue to this day.
