The Thoughts of Issui IV

I pray for your son's healthy growth.
I connect the thoughts of all parents and those who care for their children.
To that end, Issui's approach to armor making, which has been passed down through the generations, is to "be particular about the materials and about handmade production."
I always aim to create high quality crafts by carefully handcrafting every detail.
I believe that the role of Sekku-festival decorations is to be put up every year, celebrate milestones, and create many memories and strong bonds each time.
To achieve this, I believe it must be a superior craft that can withstand repeated viewing.
Furthermore, crafts made from carefully selected, high-quality materials will develop a deeper flavor over time.
Issui's armor will age as your son grows, and over the years it will become a one-of-a-kind decoration that can't be found anywhere else.
Furthermore, I believe that my job only begins, in a sense, when the gift is handed over to the child.
When the child, now a fine grown-up, picks up the decorative armor and is able to feel once again the feelings of his or her parents and those who have cared for him or her, I believe that my job will have finally come to a close, and the decorative armor will have fulfilled its purpose. I am the fourth generation Issui master of armor making, and the techniques and sensibilities that have been refined over many years are passed down to me. By fully utilizing and assembling these materials, all the materials come into harmony and the beauty of each is maximized.

Please display new armor in a gorgeous way on the first Sekku Festival. When your child grows up, please cherish it as a one-of-a-kind Kazari armor.
As a SEKKU craftsman, it is my pleasure to be able to be a part of your child's healthy growth.
