"Kazari Koyoroi®" is a traditional craft item based on the motif of the "sandalwood board" of O-yoroi armor, and is easy to carry around.

We created this item with the hope that more people will be able to experience the charm of Issui's decorative armor.

As it is an important piece of equipment that protects the chest area of the O-yoroi, it is not only highly functional, but also uses craftsmanship comparable to that of a full-length O-yoroi (Ryo = unit of armor), including real gold-plated metal fittings, lacquer painting, gold leaf stamping, painted leather, and Kyoto braids.

In our workshop, we have traditionally called "Sandalwood Boards" "Koyoroi" (small armor). Although small, this "Kazari Koyoroi" is rich in decoration that rivals that of a full-fledged armor.

The donated armor was placed in temples and shrines as sacred objects to help the warlords of the time achieve their great goals and to pray for peace in the country. Therefore, the Kazari Koyoroi is an item that allows you to feel the charm of armor up close, and at the same time, it can also serve as a talisman for "prayer for career advancement," "scholarly success," "safety in the home," and so on.
