The Thoughts of Heianju Issui
We pray for your child's healthy growth, and connect the thoughts of all parents and those who care for their children.
To that end, Issui's approach to armor making, which has been passed down through the generations, is to "be particular about the materials and about handmade production."
I always aim to create high quality crafts by carefully handcrafting every detail.
We believe that the role of festival decorations is to be put up every year, celebrate milestones, and create many memories and strong bonds each time.
To achieve this, I believe it must be a superior craft that can withstand repeated viewing.
Furthermore, crafts made from carefully selected, high-quality materials will develop a deeper flavor over time.
Isui's armor and helmet will age as your son grows, and over the years it will become a one-of-a-kind decoration that can't be found anywhere else.
Furthermore, I believe that my work begins, in a sense, when I hand it over to you.
When the child, now a fine young man, picks up the decoration and is able to once again feel the feelings of his parents and those who have cared for him, I will feel that my job will have finally come to a close and the decoration will have fulfilled its purpose.
I am the fourth generation Issui master of armor making, and the techniques and sensibilities that have been refined over many years are passed down to me.
By fully utilizing and assembling these materials, all the materials come into harmony and the beauty of each is maximized.
For your child's first festival, we would be delighted if they could wear new armor and helmet, and when they grow up to be beautiful and grown-up, we would like to be able to accompany them in their healthy growth as a one-of-a-kind decorative armor that cannot be found anywhere else. This is a one-of-a-kind decorative armor that can be found anywhere else.As someone involved in festival crafts, there is no greater joy than this.
